Tasks/Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals and speciality foods including curries, vegetables,
meat, poultry, and fish dishes
• Create decorative food displays for special events such as banquets and catering
• Instruct cooks in preparation for cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
• Supervise activities of other chefs and cooks
• Assist Executive Chef in menu planning
• Estimate amount and costs of kitchen supplies and food items
